Re: HCC meeting in Oct.
I took almost 300 pictures Friday night and Saturday, and I will only be posting the ones that are worth looking at, hopefully tonight. Since no one was up when I left Sunday morning, I got no usable pictures then ...

Re: HCC meeting in Oct.
I'd like to thank everyone who attended our 25th AGM in Old Sturbridge Village for making it such a valuable and enjoyable experience. Educational seminars were as usual the most interesting and valuable aspect, followed by the tool swap and show-off session. Vice-President Peter Oakley ex ux Linda ensured all went smoothly. It was very good to see many new, young cordwainers among old friends.

I've uploaded a batch to Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/imarcc ). Note, if you search for HCC or AGM on the tags, there are also pictures from last year and a couple of years ago in Delavan.

Nasser,
During your demo, I didn't get a chance to write down the wax name from the packaging. What is it?
Thanks,
Roy

Re: HCC meeting in Oct.
Rob, thank you for that. Gorgeous pictures (except for those with me in them). I'm sorry I had to miss that.
Re: HCC meeting in Oct.
Marc, I feel the same way about the pictures I am in so that makes it even. These are just snapshots, point and click, nothing fancy.
You were missed on Sunday together with a handful of other member who were only there on Saturday. With the change in weather on Sunday we took the opportunity to stroll around the museum grounds. Did anyone make it to the Fuller Craft Center in Brockton? Are there pictures or a report?

All
I will be arriving Chicago O’Hare at 1.33 p.m. on Fri 22nd Oct. and have a rented car booked at Hertz. If any body needs a ride to Delavan, they would be welcome to join me.
The same applies to my journey back. I have to be at O’Hare on Tue 26th Oct in time to catch a flight leaving at 2.15 p.m.
If you do not know me, I would happy to look out for you at the Hertz checking-in desk. There will not be too many 70+ grey-haired Englishmen walking up to the desk at any particular time but please contact me. The email address is below.
This event is a highlight in my year and I am looking forward to seeing everybody at Delavan again and meeting some newcomers.

Re: HCC meeting in Oct.
Hello everyone,
I'm new to the HCC and am excited to join you at the annual meeting.
Are there any ladies in the group who would like to split a double occupancy room?
I'm also wondering if anyone else will be leaving the Milwaukee airport anytime on Friday and if I could possibly get a ride. I don't drive and I would really appreciate your help.
Olesya.
