Great! Now that that worked I'll describe it.
The uppers are 4oz veg tanned skived cowhide from tandy. They are rough out so no linings and I didnt put any counters etc. in so its kinda flimsy. The uppers are hand stitched but the bottom is cemented though I plan to peg it soon. Comments and constructive critisism greatly appreciated!!!
THanks,
Cody

Hello everyone!
I wanted to show my latest work and the most successful.
Hiking boots, leather uppers "amphibious" 2.5 mm, calf lining, padded with felt, leather sole and midsole both 6mm.
The boot has three seams:
upper sole welt
welt upper midsole
welt upper midsole and rubber sole.
The uppers are sewn by hand.
I'd like to hear some comments from you experts, and even some criticism about possible errors!

About a size 3, straight lasted, and rough out. These were welted and have a blind rand (which wasnt as blind as I had expected.
The welt kinda browned when I ran a hot screwdriver around it to set the edge (do what I gotta do

) but the outsole edge didnt so it looks a little weird.
Anyhow here it is...

Any advice much appreciated!

Latest pair of shoes--reverse calf. Pretty unremarkable except for the fact that I could keep them pristine throughout the whole process.

Hi all - a new pair of 1570s shoes. Sadly, the picture doesn't show the highly polished outsole edges.

Nat,
I'll give this a try and see if it brings up a Gallery Gossip thread.
Maybe not, This might be the new it.
But I wanted to complement the two pair you just showed.
Very Well done!

Paul,
No Gallery Gossip. Not unless it becomes absolutely necessary.

OK, As I supposed.
My respects to Admin, Emmett and all involved behind the scenes for getting this done. I'm sure it was necessary.
We'll all adjust.
Change is painful sometimes and just plain different at others.
We'll adjust.
Now we need a hot topic to explore.
Let's try one of the other Topic threads?
