Another old pair we made awhile back also... Waxed hide uppers , hand sewn apron. I tried to do a real clean finish on the sole on this one very John Lobbish.

The shine takes fabulously on this one, not really that surprising though since its waxed hide or brush-off leather.

Is your's/your father's store still open? There's a lot of bad rep on Yelp which had deterred me from visiting...

You mentioned in your Registry post that we should correct your English...I'm not going to do that but I will put this bug in your ear. It is a contradiction in terms to talk about handmade and Goodyear. There is no such thing as "handsewn Goodyear welt."

I know that this is a convention among some Italian makers but it is incorrect and I don't think it is good to confuse terminology. We can't talk to each other if we aren't sure what we are talking about.

Goodyear welting takes its name from a machine that Charles Goodyear invented in 1869 (?). If a shoe is Goodyear welted construction it is, by definition, machine welted.

I think what you want to say is that your shoes are "handwelted."

And more power to you.

Sorry...yes you are right , my shoes are as you say "handwelted", but I learned this way of calling this shoes by old shoemakers.

Here below the latest, theese are buffalo leather crocodile printed.

Now, I am working with brown calf leather, norvegian construction, when i will have completed I will post it.

Pair of work boots for my "deserving" son. So anxious to wear them, I over-looked a silver pen mark on tongue. Can't say where I got the vamps/counter covers, but it's an oil-tanned leather. Tops are kidskin.

Never placed a midsole on a boot before. These were a "booger" to sew 7 spi!
