So everyone.. I got 4 applications until now.

I got 7 applications, what I will send to the committee soon. Thanks everyone who took time to apply. I got some nice stories, pictures and learn a lot more from you guys. If I could, I would invite you all. And now I am happy that I don't need to take all the responsibility to choose. That will be difficult.

And here is my present to all beginner shoemakers here: I put together a step by step guide with 276 pics for the simplest construction: the cemented one. I made these pics from a video I recorded for my students, but I think everyone will understand it perfectly.

Marcell, I may want to print all those pictures out! A reference like that would be very helpful. I was mad that I didn't take good pictures in the class--so I started to forget some things! Thank you very much for taking the trouble to post this!

Having just arrived back home from Budapest I wanted to drop a note here. A thank you to Marcell for generously sharing his knowledge and shop with me over March. Make no mistake Koronya is a tough shop and Marcell is demanding (yes I have overused this word to describe my time there but it is the best choice) but the talent there is exceptional. For those who those who choose to attend his apprenticeship in Hungary the learning opportunities are tremendous but not easy, be prepared. I will post photos as soon as my camera is recharged. Hopefully we will see Marcell return to this forum.

Thank you, I learned a lot, and can't wait to use it here in Canada. I stayed a month at Koronya, not long enough, but I hope to return.

By the way, did Jeff Richard make it back yet? I was hoping he would post some of his work from Koronya.
