Re: Looking for...

Hi Everyone, I am in need of help sourcing some JR Men's heels with rubber dove tail insert (size 42). I need a pack and right now would give up my first born to get my hands on them as I have a backlog of customers waiting. Seems no supplier I know of in Australia has them as a stock item. Any help...

However I want to know what cutting tool is used to achieve the neat concave sole edge and then the slightly convex with lip on the sole ...

Pigments you can get from L.Cornelissen & Co If you order their pigment colour chart it is amazing and has swa...

Re: Thread

DW right now the whole linen thread thing is a novelty. As a hobby I am enjoying the whole process along with hunting down some old tools and having a play. I will be looking at Teklon soon enough to see what it is and if I can source it locally. Right now my biggest physical challenge is keeping up...

Re: Thread

This is very much along the lines I have been being vexed over. I have a big spool of linen thread which I twist and wax. However I think I am going to be royally screwed once it runs out as I have not found anyone locally who sells anything like it. There is a lot of scratching of heads when I enqu...

Re: The Registry

As an introduction my name is Nathan Baxter-Black and I live far afield in Sydney, Australia. Having had a long term fascination for shoes and boots I left my chair bound job and went into the craft of shoe/boot repair. I have been exceedingly fortunate that I have been able to twist the arms of man...
